Different from a shared hosting account in which the data is backed up by the hosting company, if you use a virtual or a dedicated hosting server you'll need to keep manual backups as this kind of a service is not supplied by default. As fantastic as a server could be, there's always the possibility that something might go wrong. As an example, you can delete some content by mistake or a script-driven application might get corrupted after an update. If you have a backup, you'll not need to be concerned about such problems since the content can be easily restored. Since it may not be really practical to do this regularly on your end, we offer an optional backup service for each of our server plans and we shall store a copy of your content on an individual machine to ensure that it is intact no matter what. With the upgrade, you could work on your web server without worrying that you might lose any information due to any reason.

Weekly Backup in VPS Servers

The backup service could be ordered anytime and with any VPS server package irrespective of the OS or the CP you have selected. It takes just a couple of clicks to do that and the additional service shall be available both on the order page and within your billing CP, so you could decide if you would like weekly copies of your content to be kept from the minute you get the VPS or just during particular months. The upgrade may also be renewed at any time, so in case you decide that you no longer require it eventually, it will not be attached permanently to your plan. Needless to say, it's always better to know that your site content is safely backed up and can be restored no matter what. You could get weekly backups not just as a standalone feature, but also as a part of our Managed Services upgrade, which includes a variety of server admin services.

Weekly Backup in Dedicated Servers

When you employ one of our dedicated servers, you could use the optional backup service with just two mouse clicks. You could include it during the initial signup and have backups generated as soon as your machine is installed and operating or you'll be able to add it later through your Control Panel in case you decide that you will need it for the future. With this service, 50 Gigabytes of disk space on an independent hosting server will be reserved for you all the time, so in case anything bad happens with an Internet site or some other web app, we can promptly restore the data. You can get weekly backups not only as an individual service, but also as part of our Managed Services pack, which features various other tasks our admins can do for you like installing third-party programs and updating the Operating System of your dedicated web server. This shall allow you to work on your web apps without needing to worry that something can go not as planned.
